The reason I say that is because some of the affiliates only show certain MeTV programs and show other programming the rest of the time. Re: Contour 2 Delete Function Missing I went to the Cox Solutions Store this morning and swapped out my Contour 2 receiver. I knew I would lose all of my DVR recordings but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make in order to have a proper operating receiver. Now I have a supposedly new Contour 2 receiver, still no delete icon and the clock is super dim with it set on 3. Re: Contour 2 Delete Function Missing When I saw the reply of my original post I just called support because the moderator completely avoided answering my questions. After a 40 minute session with support, I was able to get the delete icon back for about 2 days then it disappeared again. I won't even go into everything I've been through this week concerning this but after 3 lengthy phone calls with support, it seems to be my Contour 2 receiver is faulty. Contour 2 Delete Function Missing I have two questions about the Contour 2. 1. What happened to the delete function for the DVR? I used to be able to scroll through my recorded programs and delete them if I decided not to watch them and now that function is gone. I now have to fast forward the program to the end in order to receive a popup box asking if I want to delete it. 2. When I scroll through the TV schedule, If a program has been on before, there is a grey box that says "Repeat". If it was a new program, it used to have "New" highlighted in blue and It is now highlighted in grey. Is my Contour 2 receiver faulty or are these new changes? SolvedRe: Modem Won't Reset The issue is still there after trying a different splitter (exact same splitter installed by Cox) so I emailed you my info. Re: Modem Won't Reset There is a splitter but it's inside a plastic box that Cox mounted to the outside of my house. I do have another splitter that I can try out but if it doesn't work I will contact you with the link you provided. I get the same results when I choose try again and I've tried your automated reset through the phone and get the same "We're Unable to Reset your Modem". The symptoms that prompt me to reset are slow internet speeds, page loading etc... There have been many times I've called tech support and they tell me they can't even see my modem being online yet it is online but it would just be slow. There have been issues in my area for several years in which something happens every 3 to 6 months and Cox ends up having to send out the maintenance crews to track down the problems. When my service is slow or interrupted, the first thing I do is go to my account and check for outages. If there is an outage, I do nothing but wait, if no outage, I try resetting. Modem Won't Reset I've had this problem for the last couple of months. When I try to reset my modem through my account, it will not work. I can however reset my TV Receiver through my account, just not my modem. Re: Phishing from cox.net email Out of curiosity, what's wrong with forwarding the whole email? Every time I get one with an @cox.net email address, I forward the whole email to all three, abuse@cox.net, phishingreport@cox.net & spamreport@cox.net
