ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Automatic email forwarding not working Curt, thank you for your thoughts. I did overlook something. It seems that when Outlook receives an email from a previously unknown source, it directs it to the Junk folder. That is where I found many of my auto-forwarded emails! I went in and clicked "not Junk" on them and they then went to my Inbox. Previously, I was looking in my Cox Spam folder, which didn't have the emails in question. Thanks to you and all for helping me resolve this issue, Re: Automatic email forwarding not working I will do that. Researching this issue confirms that the autoforward function has been a problem for many users going back 7 years now. It seems to only work randomly at best. Some mails get forwarded, others don't. There is no consistency or reliability to the product. And I agree about emailing, not calling. Over the phone, Level 1 is nearly unintelligible and generally just try to upsell you on more speed/capacity. Re: Automatic email forwarding not working Thank you for your reply. What you're saying makes perfect sense, and I double-checked my Filter rules. I have none in place, other than the autoforwarding. I also changed my fowarded address from Outlook to Gmail as suggested by the other guy. Sadly, nothing has gotten forwarded there yet either. Very strange. Re: Automatic email forwarding not working Yes. Automatic email forwarding not working I have set up my Cox webmail to auto-forward incoming mail to my Outlook email account, but it is not happening. There aren't misspellings on my part, and no forwarded Cox email is ending up in a Spam folder or anywhere else. Why am I not getting any forwarded mail after setting it up? Thank you. SolvedRe: Email capacity limits No, the message isn't spam. It's legit. Re: Email capacity limits Yes, I empty my Trash bin. Email capacity limits I am receiving cox emails informing me my email capacity is 90 percent full. I have deleted hundreds of old emails but still get warnings. If I move the emails to an Archive folder, will it help resolve the problem? McAfee Real-Time Scanning issue I have the Cox Security which uses McAfee. When I launch the software, i get on on-screen alert telling me to turn on real-time scanning. I turn it on, and the screen confirms it is on. I exit out of McAfee, and when I relaunch to go back in, it tells me that real-time scanning is off and to turn it on. What is going on with this flaky software? SolvedRe: unblock.request Yes, I have checked and the domains are not being blocked by me. And I can send them emails, and they receive them, but I do not receive theirs.
