Re: I don't think I should be billed for failed service The WIRE........season 3, episode 1............STILL unavailable............way to go COX !! Re: I don't think I should be billed for failed service Stephanie.......thanks for the response. My current problem (related to original problem) is......can't get The WIRE season 3 episode 1. I CAN get other episodes, but of course I want to watch the season IN ORDER. I called Cox support and talked to a guy WHO DUPLICATED MY PROBLEM. He could not get episode 1 either. So he said he would take care of it. That was 2 days ago. Episode 1 still cannot be downloaded to my box. How can that be ? When I was working in a software group and a customer called because they were missing a database record, we got that record off a backup and had it available to them WITHIN MINUTES. That is how real customer service should work. Try it yourself...........go to season 3, episode 1 and try to view it. Your service should NOT be called ON DEMAND. It is more like ON WHENWECAN. Re: I don't think I should be billed for failed service Bruce.....your reply is moronic. Uptime of any commercial system should be very near 100% Anything less is stoneage. THAT is the point. The $5 was hyperbole. Re: I don't think I should be billed for failed service The error message code is XRE 07002 Re: I don't think I should be billed for failed service Thanks for the reply ReneeG. It happens once or twice a week with OnDemand. Not just HBO. Also on Cinemax and free TV. The other night I tried to watch The Americans (FX) On Demand and it failed. It seems to happen more often during what I would imagine are peak demand hours but that may just be coincidence. If this only happened 2 or 3 times a year.......okay........but 2 or 3 times a week is really not great. Re: I don't think I should be billed for failed service I'm ALREADY paying for HBO, so The Wire should be free to me. But I can't get to it when I want it. And that is the DEFINITION of ON DEMAND. Instead of ON DEMAND it should be called ON WHEN WE CAN GET THINGS WORKING OR HAVE ENOUGH BANDWIDTH. I don't think I should be billed for failed service Just tried to access The Wire on On Demand. Was given a message "Sorry we are having a problem". Yeah ? This happens so often that I feel >>I<< might have a problem paying my full bill. Every time this happens something like $5 should be subtracted from my monthly bill because I'm not getting what I'm paying for.
