The program is like the Superbowl to many snowboarding fans. COX quality and customer service instantly came up in conversation during the event. I hope the technician can come prepared with extra cards/adapters if required. Cable Card Tuning Adapter Just curious what some of the issues are that keep me from getting any digital stations. The error message I get is "This channel is not authorized, contact service provider" I have an MTR 700 with a cable card on my TIVO...the card is paired, the tuning adapter IS wired correctly. When I called customer support, they said replace the tuning adapter, so I did at the convenient COX store nearby. I called tech support again to tell them I needed the new equipment activated and got nothing but attitude. The rep said they would have to roll a truck and tech support to my house...in a week. I'm disgusted with the customer service here. I have researched this tuning adapter issue online and people have been posting the same questions with no results. This should be an easy no-brainer hook-up. Anyone have some input? I hate the standard DVR and menu system provided by COX. The speeds always go down between the hours of 5pm and 11pm. I'm in an apartment, are my gamer neighbors hogging all the bandwidth?! Re: Why are Prices going up again ? Price increases are never fun....my total bill jumped $30 dollars this past month so I ditched the cable. Customer service called me and asked if I wanted to "Price Lock". It turns out they were locking me into this higher rate. WOW guys. C'mon!
