We simply want the option to turn it off so it doesn't show up in our listings! Re: POWER SAVING Hello StephanieS. Yes it worked for me. I came home tonight and the box was still on! Also sorry Jerry May for partially interrupting your thread! Hopefully the advice I gave you works. If not then hopefully Stephanie can help you out! Re: POWER SAVING Hello Jerry May. I'm not sure if we have the exact same setup. But on my remote I have to click "Contour", scroll over to the gear setting on the far right. Go to "Device Settings", "Power Preferences", and then "Power Saver Starts After :" and choose "Off" if it is available. Re: POWER SAVING I just noticed today that there is an option to disable the box from turning itself off. However the screen saver option does not have an off switch. My box just recently started turning itself off when I'm gone. This has been bugging me lately as well. I turned the feature off now I'll wait and see if it actually works. Re: Free Movies/Netflix I agree with tcompound. Before the Netflix integration, I could go to free movies on demand. Then I would apply the filter "Free Movies for Me". That always gave me a list of movies that I could watch and they were all FREE to ME. It didn't show me movies on networks that I didn't subscribe too and couldn't watch without paying. Now that Netflix has been integrated, using that same filter shows me 4,000 some odd movies. 95% of which are on Netflix which I do not subscribe to. If I'm going to pay for Netflix then I have no need for Cox in my opinion. I'll just add Hulu to the mix and drop Cox Cable TV altogether.
