SMTP not working with Outlook 2016 I login to webmail and and see my connect settings Secure and 993 for IMAP and Secure 587 for SMTP. I look up how to connect to Outlook 2016 on Cox is states select "SSL" - well in outlook 2016 there is no SSL just "SSL/TLS" so I select "SSL/TLS". In outlook 2016 Test of IMAP is fine. Test of SMTP fails with the following error: Sending' reported error (0x800CCC1A) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.' OK ISP I need your assistance. Who is in charge of the Web Site/ Back End. This web site/online service is bad... very bad. Dont you folks test things before implementing them? You'll should start looking for another line of work - cause your not doing a good job at this one.
