Internet is slow as snot to this site. Omaha, NE why pay a premium for this? I have to plug in the fire sticks .. Re: Cannot disable forum notifications! Me too. It is so annoying. I have tried everyithing. V Re: Ripping People Off Welcome to Cox Cable and the way they do business. They are constantly bumping up your internet speed without your permission and charging you more or just charging you more for 50. Now you can’t even read your full bill so who knows what they are charging you for. Keep an eye on them. Re: Cox's spam filtering ** .My blacklist is full isn’t yours.? Now I can’t even find it to edit it. I did a search and ended up here. For the last 25+ years of being a Cox customer spam has reached an all time high as has their cost of service. Rediculous !!!!!!!!!!! Re: On Demand "We are unable to fulfill your request at this time" Not only do I get unable to fulfill your request all the time, AFTER receiving a new cable box I also have the program quit in the middle of the show. If I can get it to start running again it stops a few minutes before the shows ends for good. I cannot tell you how irritating watching On Demand is. For the money I pay Cox Cable I expect service, not constant problems like I have had this year. Without internet for four days earlier this year simply because of a router change? My internet speed still barely registers on the speed chart. As long as I am on this forum I would also like to mention how long it takes Cox to upload an episode that has been aired on commercial television. I would like to watch the missed episode before the next new one is broadcast. Cox does not always make it possible. If they cannot deliver service, quit charging me for it. They keep charging us more, yet the service is going down hill fast. The competition is coming and I am watching it closely for better service at a fraction of the cost. I am tired of being nickeled and dimed to death. New televisions need converter boxes at $1.99 a month. What a gimmick. OMAHA, NE Re: Nov Internet price increase Well stink, I am going to have to find another provider. Who can afford the increases? I am in the new internet companies boundaries so I can lock in a price for two years. Or I will go sit at Starbucks all day and use the internet for free. Re: 12/18/12 is email out AGAIN!! The same thing is happening to me in Omaha, NE. It keeps throwing me back to my screen saver page. It takes 30 seconds to delete one of the few new emails that have made into my account. Cox stating it's outage has not been an inconveniece is an insult to ones intelligence as is why there was an outage in the first place. I would also like to mention, didn't anyone else notice Cox removed the Forum pages on day two when everyone was talking about getting a refund? Using the internet has become an expensive time consuming ordeal. I'm with everyone else, time to shop around for a new provider. I live in a new subdivision. When we arrived home last night at 8:30 someone was working in the dark and cold undevloped subdivion across the street. Guess who it was? Centurylink, I think they see an opportunity to increase their client base.
