When typing an email and a correction or deletion is required the typing area rolls down out of sight making it impossible to see what you are doing. Only if you click on the typing window does the data come back up into view but as soon as you begin the deletion or correction it rolls back down out of sight again. This is extremely annoying! Email page changes...continued I STILL have the white or gray blank page with an X in the upper right corner and unless you click on the X you cannot see what is on the page. This shows up continually for just about every page. Also, what's with the "Pardon Our Interruption" page every time I log on!? I still have to shrink my on screen keyboard or cannot see what I'm typing without scrolling to a very narrow screen. I firmly believecthis all is because the top of the email page is a very large blank spot that obviously pushes everything down causing useable area to end up really small (narrow). Why is it whenever you guys "improve" your email site things just get worse andnever better? Pretty sue I am FAR from alone in asking this. Can't wait to hear what lamea** excuse we hear. Email page changes Are you guys messing around with your email site? Have noticed that when replying to an email the typing area has shrunk to the point I had to reduce the size of my onscreen keyboard to compensate. Otherwise I cannot see much of what I'm typing. Also noticing when a check sent emails and trash there is now an X in the upper right corner that I have to click onto see anything. Otherwise the page is blank. Thought maybe I had a problem on my end so deleted and reinstalled email app. Still the same. Re: Error connection Same here. It happens every day sometimes seriously affecting my ability to use my email. I also keep getting a message "Warning: Unresponsive script - A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete." This pop's up a LOT. I always select stop the script and this seems to do nothing as it simply reappears again in a minute or so. I have tried to research this and have not had a lot of luck. There are responses out there but I am not computer whiz and a lot of these tell you to do things I am not comfortable doing. Anyone have an suggestions? Printing email I am using a Samsung Tab A tablet, I access my email account via Cox's myemail (https://idm.east.cox.net/coxlogin/ui/myemail?TYPE=33554432&REALMOID=06-0006539e-4334-1824-8407-c694ac1240b7&GUID=1&SMAUTHREASON=0&METHOD=GET&SMAGENTNAME=-SM-k%2fEQ7O%2fTtHzKZS2HNXp2CiF7Biktxh%2bpFmDWL5V%2fqp8t%2b%2bEf%2bXhgsi6A9ByIG%2bNd&TARGET=-SM-HTTPS%3a%2f%2fidm%2eeast%2ecox%2enet%2faffwebservices%2fox%2fredirect%2ejsp%3fSAMLRequest%3dfZJPb4JAEMXv-%2FRRk7-%2FJn0Uo3grE1piY2JYo99LYsQ90EdimzWPvtiyCpPdTbbjLvNy-%2FvzWx-%2BKgvrCDVKrULi2S6xQAmdSfURkn2yGgVkHt3NkJcFrdiiMQe1hc8G0FgLRKhNq3vSCpsS6h3URylgv92E5GBMhcxxym8ouSxsoU-%2B2AuPwqsJGGmgf0jlTHS6QWMsWKBU3nYtBK7PSBo5mELPx2Hd4nn9Biv0qdKomLaToSBRRE2ulawGdz5DkvEAg1noZEuqCn3oCsimn4-%2BkE0qkLNAMvyCm-%2F991JO4UxR5RH-%2BNUhNrBWaLgyZ4L3MHKDEZ0k1GUeZZ5vB37wTqy41kYLXTxK1efW1IppjhKZ4iUgM4LtFi8bRm2Xpf0QsuckiUfx6y4h1tuQPz3n3zaikPWJ32ZVl8Uk6gtineP6mnAbwIcKSfRPYTPnmhxdvn8vIfoB%26RelayState%3dc0a97bbd7dc24819b9aa2a08c555c731%26SMPORTALURL%3dhttps-%3A-%2F-%2Fidm%2eeast%2ecox%2enet-%3A443-%2Faffwebservices-%2Fpublic-%2Fsaml2sso%26SAMLTRANSACTIONID%3d178e2829--4a76c872--c2e11efe--706f3c3c--9cf8ba05--b30), use Firefox as my internet browser and my printer is an Epson Workforce WF-3520 All-In-One. When I open an email and select the "print" option from the drop down menu (the 3 parallel bars) I see a page preview showing the email and at the bottom right are "CANCEL" and "PRINT" buttons. When I select "PRINT" absolutely nothing happens however, when I select "CANCEL" this button works fine and the page preview is cancelled. If I select the print option offered by Firefox (drop down menu, "Page" then "Print") the Epson WF-320 printer page preview displays but a portion of the right border is chopped off. I have verified and re-verified all settings on my printer to ensure they are correct and I am using the recommended Epson Print Enabler app for Android. There are no options offered by Cox to adjust the borders on my printed page view thereby allowing me to change the borders to not chop off the right side. . NOTE: Using my Toshiba Satellite S855D laptop running Windows 10 I have no problem printing any email, only when using the Samsung Tab A. SPAM that NEVER STOPS! See more than a few forum inputs regarding SPAM issues. Seems like most of them I read are locked and many are only a few months old. I have been experiencing a serious SPAM problem for some time now. I have contacted tech support several times as well and get the same old run around the popular one being "Create a filter!". Guess what, I did just this and guess what else....I continue to receive SPAM from the very sites I filtered!! Not only that several months ago I noticed I was not receiving email from specific individuals and some of my long time email outlets I have been corresponding with for years. I tried everything I knew to try and find out why they had suddenly stopped to no avail. I finally bit the bullet and contacted tech support although I felt it would be a total waste of time. Surprise, surprise! I actually spoke to a young lady who KNEW her job and between the two of us we discovered that one or more of my spam filters were blocking these emails. We researched them to see if I had somehow added something somewhere causing certain email to be blocked that I never intended to block and we found nary a one. All of the filters I had created (there were more than 40) specified ONLY email coming from specific sources I wanted to block. It seemed the only way to find out where the problem was was to delete these filters and see if this would help. I permitted this young lady to access my account and she watched my inbox as I deleted the filters one by one. Guess what again, once I had deleted better than half of these filters the previously blocked desired email began appearing in my inbox again! I did not receive all of the previously blocked email because some were too old and no longer showed up but I WAS at least receiving them again. WARNING: use these filters at your own risk! They apparently do not work as advertised. This young lady asked if I had been using the SPAM blocking feature and I said I had but it did not seem to be stopping anything. She told me to send every SPAM email to Coxes "spamreport@cox.net" and this should stop this influx of SPAM. Well, it DOES NOT! I have sent dozens and dozens of SPAM emails to "spamreport@cox.net" many of them originating from the exact same SPAM email address over and over and THEY KEEP COMING! Many of the SPAM emails are some foreign entity and I see these $%#@ things almost daily. What I am seeing is an email provide who does not care one iota about providing good customer service. It would also appear that from the many other complaints I read regarding SPAM I am not the only person who feels this way. SPAM (Continued) Seems I'm not the first (by a LONG shot) to ask why SPAM email is seldom if ever stopped although we are using the "Mark as SPAM" button and offensive email is going to the SPAM folder. Some background: after receiving hundreds and I do mean HUNDREDS of SPAM emails I finally opted to establish filters to hopefully eradicate this junk. Well seems that somehow one or more of these filters began interfering with my email and I didn't receive any emails for several days. I contacted Cox tech support and spoke to a lady who was quite helpful or so I thought. She felt that possibly my email account had been somehow hacked (?) and asked if she could change my password to see if that would help. She changed my password with no change. I had already explained to her about the huge amount of SPAM I was receiving and that I had created filters to eliminate much of it. She said there was a possibility that something in one or more of these filters was fouling up my email access. At her suggestion I began deleting the filters and lo and behold my email started working correctly and I began receiving that days emails. Everything prior to that was lost but since I don't do a lot of emailing I didn't figure I had lost much of anything important. Anyway, she told me what I SHOULD be doing is using the "Mark as SPAM" button because the filters COULD create issues which might be what had happened to me. I told her I had used the button before but I still received SPAM from the EXACT SAME sender over and over again. No response to that statement was forthcoming. At any rate, I asked her if I used the "Mark as SPAM" button did the SPAM emails have to remain in the SPAM folder for any length of time before deleting them. She said no that I could delete them at any time but that they would auto delete after 30 days. So I started using the "Mark as SPAM" button and even kept each SPAM email a minimum of 5 days before deleting. Since I receive 40 to 60 SPAM emails in a 5 days period I did not want the SPAM folder loaded to the gills sand deleting after 5 days. OK, so now I STILL receive SPAM email from the very same senders I had already identified using the "Mark as SPAM" button and even receive 2 to 3 from the SAME sender in the SAME DAY and this SAME SPAM is already in the SPAM folder. So what the hell gives here? What good is a "Mark as SPAM" button if the SPAM is going to continue unabated?! I have come to the conclussion that maybe I should simply dump Cox and gor for Microsoft Mail, Outlook or ANYTHING that will actually BLOCK SPAM. Re: Spam Infestation FRM, You are not alone. I have been getting the exact same spam you mentioned plus a whole lot more. I moved each and every one into my spam folder which was useless as they kept coming most exactly the same and some changed somewhat. I got to the point where I started creating filters for each one and so far this seems to have helped but not completely. I have over 4 pages of filters created and every day there is something else new showing up in my in-box and I have to create yet another filter. I had initially been blocking many of these spam entries but soon found out there is a limit of up to 100 and after that you cannot block any more unless you delete some entries. Delete them and they are right back again. For that matter, even blocking many of them was useless as they would reappear again blocked or not. I am just about a hairs breadth away from converting my email to Microsoft Outlook as COX does not appear to be concerned with the complaints from their customers regarding the increasing volume of spam they are getting. DO NOT open any of the spam emails and "unsubscribe". Our daughter works in marketing and she has told us in many cases if you do this your email is bundled and sold to another outlet and you will end up getting even more spam. As an aside, I don't know about anyone else but one morning (exactly when I cannot say) I checked my email and had not a single piece of spam in my in-box yet that afternoon when I checked my email again I had hundreds and I do mean HUNDREDS of spam files showing up in my in-box. NO ONE had even been on my account since that morning so where in the #!&% did all of these spam files come from?? COX??? missing spellcheck Now that we've all been pretty much cast onto the "new and improved" email format (myemail.cox.net) and cannot go back to the old preferred format I find we are left hanging in certain areas one being the apparent lack of a spellchecker. Now, let me preface this by saying that if there IS a spellchecker I have yet to find it. I contacted tech support on at least 3 separate occasions and have bee run around in circles. Either I am completely missing the obvious or the tech support folks are not keeping up with the program. On 2 instances I was provided info regarding the "old" email formats either classic or enhanced but these are no longer available so that information was totally useless plus I already knew what they told me regarding the spellcheck option in either of these 2 formats. So, is there actually a spellchecker hidden in this "new improved" email format and if so where the @$#* is it!? I also find that when I am using my Samsung tablet I cannot copy and paste information into either a new email or when replying to an existing email. Again, am I dense and missing something because I have yet to find a way to copy and paste ANYTHING into a new/existing email. Oh, and while I'm at it, when I tried to use the spellcheck (at least that's what it SAYS it is) above (with the blue check mark with ABC over top) I get an ERROR RESPONSE with this <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head lang="en"> <meta http-! Come ON Cox, what the effing *** gives!! Does ANYTHING actually work??!! Re: Enhanced email option stopped working You offered quite a few possible options the only trouble being I got lost on some of yours suggestions/recomendations. That was not your fault. When you mentioned that Flash and Windows 10 didn't seem to be playing nice when it came to using the Enhanced webmail option that's when I tried Chrome. Like I said Enhanced webmail opened right up in Chrome and I really thought I had the problem whipped. I was flabbergasted when I went into my email the next morning and was right back to square one all over again. I was getting so upset that I was seriously considering reverting back to Windows 8.1. I do like many of the new features in Windows 10 and I' hoping that maybe somewhere down the road really soon Microsoft just might start playing nice with Flash and I will be able to get my Enhanced webmail working again. In the interim I am going to post this on the Windows forum and maybe someone will have the key to this issue. I can always hope. Again, thanks for all your help!
