TV A/V are tilling pixelatng breaking up for as long as up to a minute. Closed Captioning is also effected. Is this a splitter cable connection problem. This problem started sometime last year 2021 and getting more frequent. Is this a cable connection issue in my area or my apartment building to my studio. Can not record repeating show on TV Japan Ch. 400 in Standard Definition format rather than in High Definition I am having trouble since last year, so I am asking again, on why I can't record using the "Record Any Channel" ( I think that is what it is ), so that I can record in Standard Definition format the repeating show(s) and save on Hard Disk space? This is mainly for the channel 400, not 1400, to be able to record in SD format. I asked TVJapan and they don't know what is happening with the DVR and User Guide of Cox, so this issue has to be a Cox user guide recording function that don't allow the repeats to be recorded as set as "record all". Please fix this function to allow recording of the repeats as set to record even if the program was already recorded as New or not. Re: Problem with TVJapan Scheduling of Recordings, repeats and first time recordings I have 3 9865 dvrs. Not enough storage without extra external HDDs. Open the eSata. Problem with TVJapan Scheduling of Recordings, repeats and first time recordings I emailed to TVJapan about the Program Guide and Scheduling of Recordings pro9blems, Cox Communications recently changed the programming of all the channels including TV Japan which have caused a lot of problems for setting shows to record. It has become a problem to record much of the programs with the removal of the Standard Definition TVJapan channel 400 on Cox here in South San Diego and probably for the North County's channel as listed as well. The series record function don't seem to work half of the time or at all! Please complain to Cox Communications in San Diego about this problem. I am not really good at explaining the problem I am having but please find out why I am having these problems to set recordings, automatic record, for serials and one time recordings. Is this a problem with TV Japan or is this a Cox Communications problem? TVJapan's reply, Dear MIYASHIRO , Thank you for your inquiry. We have checked the original signal sent to all service providers (such as cable, satellite, and IPTV) from our headquarter studio, however, we did not find any problems with the original signal. If it is a temporary loading problem or yourcable box, it could be fixed easily just by resetting the box. Please try the following procedure in case you have not tried. 1) Turn off the power of your cable box 2) Unplug the power cable of the cable box for 10 seconds 3) Plug the power cable back If the above procedure does not work, please contact your service provider, COX, directly, and ask them to re-hit the TV Japan signal to your box. If you have further questions or concern, please feel free to contact us at anytime. Sincerely, テレビジャパン・カスタマーサービス I been having this problem since the switch from TVJAPAN 400 to TVJHD 400 and the only HD TV. I want and need to record TVJapan in SD mode to save storage memory space on the DVR. Gary Miyashiro SolvedPokemon listings on DVR search missing There are still no listings of the channels and episodes listing and times when a search is done on the DVR to find programming to set for viewing or recording. It just lists the titles of the movies or series titles and nothing else. Nothing has been solved, it is not resolved! Re: Anime Network on Demand Chanel did not update It seems that ANN is now only updating HD anime videos to Cox. What about the series that didn't get to complete to the end episode on SD. Now who knows when it will be updated to Cox AonD. It will only add to the listing one or several and not more per month. Re: Anime Network on Demand Chanel did not update How dare you say that we should go to Anime Network to view what we subscribed to on Cox! It's Cox and ANN for not fixing this problem. It seems that all the complete episodes listings of anime series are the problem and also that there is no distinction on whether it's listed as Standard Definition videos or High Definitionvideos that a listed. The SD videos were never updated except for a few like Chaika Avenging Battle and Matoi but as complete episode listings of the anime and not as it were when it left-off fromthe last time it wasto be updated. While other SD anime series have been listed, i.e., Girlish Number, Haikyu 2, Amagi, or FlipFlappers. But no updates of the SD anime that were not updated since whenever now! That is the issue andproblem that have with situation of not having to view the rest of the non-updated episodes that stopped beinglisted. Re: Anime Network on Demand Chanel did not update I am asking to be reimbursed as well for the none service of 4 weeks worth ofepisode listings/updates for Anime On Demand. This is for the SD versions of series episodes that have not been completed to the final episode. This problem all started with the listing of the HD versions of anime series (complete) and movies that are listed for a year to view. Is this the reason for the non-availability of the SD anime episodes? Or what is happening here, please answer this query, its been going on for far to long? Re: Contour not functioning properly as it did last year gymanime said: Yes, and it is still continuing. It shouldn't be so random! Once I set a channel for the replay function to work, up to 6 stations on the tv guide since this is a 6 tuner "contour" dvr, it should stay that way until I set it to another channel. I don't view all that many channels and I often left it on one of the channel that I view which I assume everyone else does as well, so I want it to function like it did before something happened to the contour firmware or programming as it was last summer 2016 when it functioned as it did as I liked it. The problem I am referring to is: To Rewind Live TV: 1.Rewind button 2.The DVR creates a buffer of a channel you are watching as long as you remain tuned into that channel. You can rewind up to 90 minutes of standard-definition programming or rewind up to 30 minutes of high-definition programming. The buffer begins when you start watching a channel. I am having problem with this function. The buffer gets regularly blanked out so that you can't use the "Rewind" replay function. And it should be able to save as many as 6 channels when using contour 6 tuner dvrs.Re: Anime Network on Demand Chanel did not update Still Missing Updates for 3/9, 3/16, and 3/23, and no updates for 3/30 as of yet for Anime on Demand!
