I got the same survey. I’m furious with Cox for raising my bill by $40 this year so I wanted to give them an earful! And get the $8 gift card. When I got to the end it asked for my email which I entered. But it wouldn’t let me submit. Ticked off again, I went to Cox technical support. The rep told me it sounded like a scam. He asked for the url. I copied it and tried to send but just as I was about to send it the internet went down. Wouldn’t you know it! I called their support and asked if the survey was legit, and that rep said it was not. It didn’t ask me for anything personal beyond household income range. Asked a ton of questions about radio/tv viewing habits and whether I was familiar with various service providers. I’m generally wary of things but this one sure seemed like the real deal. Now I’m spinning wheels to be sure I wasn’t hacked.166Views0likes1Comment
