On the older contour there was a setting for 10 seconds, 30 seconds etc. How can i change this? Contour 2 seems a step backwards to me. Menus are slower, organization of the menu structure is confusing, frequently used items are buried deep in the menu structure. Anyine know How to make caller ID stay on screen longer? I don't know about the Telephone Test Desk and enabling the tag,The problem is on both receivers. I have no problems with "normal phone caller ID". Numbers show up on my handsets, and the call history log online is fine. Almost wonder if they have the order wrong on how the receivers are on the account. The main host DVR needs to be first, otherwise it can sometimes forget it's a DVR. I have no problem recording an individual show. In fact, I can schedule a single recording for the first episode of the series I am attempting to set up. I get a message "function is unavailable". After trying to schedule a series, the show is listed in Series Manager but none of that programs show times are marked to record. I have a Cisco 8642HDC. I have tried unplugging the box and also sending the reset signal. This just started as I was previously able to schedule a series. on another matter, my Caller ID is not showing up on TV for the last 3 weeks (I have a thread in the phone tools trying to fix this). Cox cannot find the problem despite two site visits by Cox techs, numerous phone calls, modem resets, cable box resets, escalation to tier II, "issue sent to Atlanta", and so on. Cox has even sent me a message TWICE that the issue has been fixed even though it still doesn't work. It worked fine until 3 weeks ago. The caller ID signal is working cause it shows up on my handsets, just not on the TV. Call history is "unavailable at this time". FrankRe: TV Caller IDTech just left from the second trip to my house. He said he can't find the problem and to call Cox if it isn't working by Monday. When this site trip was set up, I requested a field supervisor and Cox employee (not contractor). Of course, that didn't happen. Typical of Cox. I am tired of paying for a service I m not getting. Don't understand why after two site visits, escalation to Tier II and hours on the phone Cox still can't get this feature working- it worked until 10 days ago.
