Can it receive channels that one of our other TVs have without adding another box?Re: Terrible speeds and connection issues ChrisL said: @force113 The main issue I'm seeing from this end is the modem itself. 4x4 modems are not compatible with Premier HSI. See this list for more info on modems approved by tier of service: http://www.cox.com/residential/support/internet/article.cox?articleId=b2ec95d0-7ef9-11df-5590-000000000000 We got the very modem COX told us to get not that long ago because our other modem was not compatible when we were having very similar issues a few years ago with our high speed package. YOU guys told us to get this modem. So what are you saying? Are you saying once again changes you made on your end now made our modems incompatible once again screwing your customers again? Our modem is Netgear CMD31T 4 x 4 Preferred which is on your list for preferred modems.Terrible speeds and connection issuesI'm located in Las Vegas NV and have a connection issue. Its been bad for over a month but lately its daily and aggravating as heck. There are times I cant even bring up this forum page and facebook. We've reset modem and router....same results. No issue with our line coming in. There is definitely something on the COX end because I see posts of people with the same issues here. Here is our test results. We have the Premier package. One minute we're fine, next no internet. We need to reset modem and router to get signal back. Something is failing or Cox is doing something that is causing these drops. Re: FBN debate question We are in Las Vegas. Being a senior and living on fixed income Cox doesn't offer more bang for your buck. Most of the seniors in our community have left Cox and I am seeing why more and more.
