Does this look normal? https://photos.app.goo.gl/fws7E7AMGruGJGKx7 Re: Cannot load Twitch.tv livestreams on Cox network. mine is an issue with upload. i'm back to getting severe frame drops when trying to stream on twitch.tv, and my upload speed with ultimate which is normally "up to 30" is unstable and running about 7mbps. everything has been fine for a couple months since the last tech visit, and now suddenly it's terrible again, with no change in equipment or configuration. this became a problem on friday, Oct 19. Re: Cannot load Twitch.tv livestreams on Cox network. and i'm back to having this same problem after it being "fixed" like 2 months ago. sigh. Re: and more packet loss and disconnects. thanks becky. i'll be emailing soon to set up an appointment, again. Re: Cox throttling Twitch i'd love to hear about what happens with the FCC. i filed a complaint with them not long ago, and simply got a call from a high up cox csr wanting to explain why suddenly they want to charge twice now for bandwidth speed, and for data instead of just speed. Re: STILL Packet Loss For Over a year in games (Fortnite, Overwatch, Rocket League, etc) i can say that i'm NOT in Arizona, and my upload stability and packet loss is also terrible. also, the replies from others here are great with all the suggestions, but i'd love to know why the burden of figuring out the problem should be on the user instead of the company to which we are paying money for service to figure out. i'm not being paid to be a network technician, i'm paying Cox to do that job and provide a service. internet connectivity through cox has greatly gone downhill over the last several years, and it seems that it is time to recognize a problem exists that we want fixed. Re: and more packet loss and disconnects. oh nice. i've had 21 disconnects since last night, that are not included in the 70+ above. and more packet loss and disconnects. So, this is becoming incredibly unacceptable. I've had 70+ disconnects over a few days. This has been an ongoing problem for months now, and I feel I've been gracious about it, but this needs to be fixed. The last tech that came out weeks ago didn't even have a working machine to test the line, and thankfully called another contractor in the area to come help him, and now, it is back to being terrible. https://drive.google.com/open?id=15t9i-Te6DwV1OMjW9t6-Qf_Ti-1JTjud t4 errors, packet loss, and 2.9mbps upload speeds, so great. so my internet ** again, and wasn't entirely fixed from this last issue anyway, and hasn't been 100% in a very long time. see alsohttps://forums.cox.com/forum_home/internet_forum/f/internet-forum/20413/t4-errors-constant-disconnects i'm back to about 30 disconnects a day, and now my upload speed is...well, abysmal. the phone rep stated wednesday that i have heavy packet loss. sigh. so, yes, there's a tech scheduled for this evening now, and i'm REALLY curious if anything is actually going to get fixed, or if i'll get the normal "oh looks like a problem, we'll send someone else out to fix it". anyone want to take odds on anything getting fixed today versus having to wait another week+ for it to be scheduled for another "tech" to come by and "fix" it? Re: T4 errors / constant disconnects new update. had a tech come out on wednesday, and Kyle was by far the most diligent tech to visit. found water in the line from the pole to the house and rewired all of it, and spent the entire 2 hours working. the others, well, they've all spent about 10 minutes before saying "yeah it's not working, we'll send someone out". also stated that there was still a main line issue that didn't seem to be fixed, and turned in a ticket for that, and someone would be by over the next few days to fix it (didn't need to be here). next day i found a note after work that one had been by and "checked it" and i couldn't read the writing, but sounded like nothing was done other than checking and saying "it's fine". everything has been A LOT better, though i must say, from 5/9 afternoon until 5/10 afternoon, i had 6 disconnects. so now over the next few days i'll be seeing how intermittent or frequent the drops continue.
