With it being a Gateway modem/router there are not many options in testing it besides trying a different Gateway or standalone modem to rule out what is causing the loss. ---Re: Computer SecurityDid you have a question dealing with your Cox services or security issues specific sites? ---Re: Random Email Failures Redux@Duopshebop, Your profile should be fixed for notifications, there is a known issue effecting specific users on getting email notifications on the forums but those can be fixed on our end when they occur. ---Re: Can't get emailThe main ticket did show resolved for that error but individual cases are still showing problems and being look into by our Mail team, when we get a update we will let you know. ---Re: RecordingsWe do not currently have a way to view recordings on a specific box in the home while you are away. You can view living programming and some On Demand content through the Contour mobile app. Remote viewing of recorded shows is something we are looking into for the future but have no time frame currently set when it will be available. ---Re: Outlook says my Cox email settings are "out of date" Robinsnest, sorry about that it looks like there was a period at the end of the url, please try it https://www.cox.com/residential/support/setting-up-an-email-account-in-outlook-for-windows.html here. --- Re: Cox failure to recognize version 9 or higher of Adobe Flash Player on Windows 10The Enhanced view is still being looked at however we are migrating over to a new platform for Webmail as well. Are you able to try to log in through http://myemail.cox.net to see if the account loads there? ---Re: persistent new email app error messages: timeouts to host 127.0.0.1; proxy error; It can take time for larger amounts of message to clear and each version of the Webmail site does time out after 30 minutes so depending on the total number of messages can cause problems in the process as well. Are you logging in through the Classic view or through the MyEmail site to access that account? ---Re: enhanced email on Edge in Windows 10Due to the migration of accounts to our new platform which can be accessed at http://myemail.cox.net and flash being retired by support of different browsers the Enhanced view is not accessible by accounts that have been or in the process of being migrated over. You should be able to still access the Classic view temporarily but otherwise those accounts can be logged into and viewed on the Myemail site as well. ---
