But In your reply you stated TV Essential but I actually have Advanced TV plus with the Variety and Bonus Pak. I did try it in the Cox TV Connect and it did work. However, the Contour app appears to stop responding once the splash screen displays. Thanks again. I will try giving Support a call in the morning. Re: Introducing Contour, the new personal video experience I Just Had the Contour Service installed today. Got the New Record 6 DVR and 2 client Boxes. I also have Preferred Internet. However, I do not get the Option to watch live TV through the APP!!!! I called Cust. Support and the lady wasn't able to resolve. What do I need to do to get this Fixed? BTW I also Tried using the Cox TV Connect and when I go to Live TV it tells me my Services do not include access to the Live TV. Yet according to the Requirements I have everything I need to watch Live TV. SO Far I have to rate this Whole thing as an Epic Fail. Re: unreliable service in SW Phoenix continues. Lucky for me I happen to stumble upon an in-house COX Technician that was waiting for someone in there truck. I asked him about the all the service interruption that has been going since the 1st of the month and he politely told me that he was aware of some maintenance work that was going on in the area and had confirmed that he and his team had been getting more service orders for my complex than normal. However he informed me that the maintenance had completed that day, this was on wednesday and my internet hasn't gone down since. My Feedback for COX is this be honest with your customers. This will reduce the number of time we need to call in. I remember when working at Earthlink we were encouraged to tell our customers if there was maintenance that would be going on for several days in there area. Don't B.S Your Customers and Don't keep secrets from us. Now I just need to call billing and have my Internet bill adjusted. For me, this issue is resolved, no thanks to cox tech support. When the outage occurs, I check the signal levels and they only change by 1 or 2 dBmV's unreliable service in SW Phoenix continues. Service continues to be unreliable in the SW Phoenix Area. It seems that there is an outage everyday that last for approx. 1hr. It goes out so often now that I have started keeping a log using Excel. When I call Support I just keep getting the same excuses and nothing gets fixed. The log shows the same thing everytime the internet connection goes down. Re: Internet Outage in West Phoenix Again Internet went down again today for just over an hour. So far cox has had an outage in my area every day around this same time. I call support and I get same script over and over again. Internet Outage in West Phoenix Again What is going on with COX Internet in the SW Phoenix area? Cox had an outage on Thurs for 2 hours, my internet came back for approx. 45min then went back down for another 2+ hours. Internet goes down again today for about 1 hr my internet comes back for about 30 min. then goes down again. Tier 1 Support is pretty worthless, all they do is have you power cycle the modem and try to blame your router. Note to cox support: MY ROUTER ISNT THE PROBLEM WHEN MY CABLE MODEM CAN'T EVEN SYNC WITH THE SYSTEM. STOP TRYING TO BLAME MY ROUTER. I look at my Cable Modem Logs andevery timemy internet goes down I see an entry every time that says "R004.0 |ReceivedResponse to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance o" Anyone else in west phoenix seeing this??? I have a truck roll scheduled for tomorrow, but I gotta say Century Link is looking better and better.
