ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsNew Cox Homepage Who in the hell came up with the new Cox Homepage. It is horrible. Please back the old homepage. I have been with Cox for 29 years but I am seriously thinking of going to another communication company. Fire the mental midgets who designed the new Homepage. No Local news, health, politic, world, or trending section now. Re: Location Selection Popup Thank you Brian, This really appears to be an issue with the cox homepage or how it is handling cookies, as the issue appears on multiple computers at different houses and even when the cookies haven't been cleared. So far it seems isolated to internet explorer 11. And it only started resetting the home page location to Atlanta GA within the last month. Prior to that it always saved my local zip code and location. Is it possible for you to inquire whether something is programmed incorrectly or was changed on the cox homepage end of things? It's quite annoying to have to see and close the pop-up asking for my zip code everytime I open the internet browser. Thank you! Re: Location Selection Popup NicholeC said: Hello Coxforumuser, What browser are you using and is the browser set to delete cookies upon exit? Hi Nichole, Thank you for the reply. I'm using Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7. I double checked and the 'delete cookies upon exit' setting is not checked. I'm going to test it in the Firefox browser too, and see if it reverts back to Atlanta Georgia, then maybe we can trace it to a browser issue, or something on Cox's end. Thank youLocation Selection Popup Hi there, Within the last several weeks, every time I load the cox.net homepage, a location selection box pops up in the upper-right corner of the screen. It lists Atlanta Georgia as the default location. I enter my California Zip Code and it retains that for sometimes a few hours, sometimes a few days, then it reverts to Atlanta Georgia and persists in popping up. Very annoying. Have tried clearing internet cache and cookies, but it does the same thing. Wondering if this is a programming issue on Cox's website, or something to change on my end. A couple of friends who use cox in orange county have the same issue on different computers. Thanks for your help.
