ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Tivo and Cable Cards Hi Danny, I understand this, but here is my situation. This problem has been going on for 10 days. I have had 3 tuning adapters, a couple of hours on telephone support, and two service calls with no resolution. Telephone support thinks the OKC outage is resolved, the techs aren't so sure. At any rate, it's exactly the same problem and the same symptoms. The original poster has a valid point. No one seems comfortable troubleshooting the tuning adapters/cable cards. I switched to Dish Network yesterday. 10 days with no headway is too long. Cox even had the gall to charge me for a service call where all the tech did was call his boss. Thanks. Re: Tivo and Cable Cards Becky, I've done this a million times. Service was back out yesterday with no resolution. I am to call them back today for more information. I'm at the point of looking for a new TV provider. Re: Tivo and Cable Cards Still no resolution here. Re: Tivo and Cable Cards Thanks, Becky. It would be nice to get this resolved as it has been going on for 5 days now. Re: Tivo and Cable Cards TIVO Support, I'm guessing you're in OKC? Me too, and I had the exact same problem starting Thursday evening. Phone support was no help. I tried a new tuning adapter from the Cox store to no avail and ended up with technicians out on Saturday. They tried a new cable card (couldn't get it activated) and another new tuning adapter. The techs said they rarely get calls on these but that day there were 15. My problem is still unresolved today (Sunday). The tuning adapter does a long blink, pause, then a sequence of two blinks and a pause. Repeat ad nauseam. This sounds like a Cox problem.
