Soooo it can be done. But I have no idea what buttons he pushed to open the logs. Back Button Okay I see my "saved / recordings". Say I pick out a recorded show that is at the bottom of the list. 1. Why can't you scroll backwards in the list with the "up/down" buttons? 2. Why has Contour 2 not figured out the quickest way back to the "recordings" is to use the "left arrow button"? 3. Why have to scroll all the way back to the beginning with the "up" button? There is too much button pushing to reach a destination that could be done in 1 or 2 moves. Re: Removing Scheduled Shows My box just says Contour on it and when looking in the about tab I could find no other name. But, I finally got the show off the scheduled list. Contour button. Scheduled shows. Start down the list and go back up to "Priority". Selected the offending show and pressed D. Then delete it when asked. Removing Scheduled Shows This is a strange one. I wanted to watch "Of Kings and Prophets" on ABC and scheduled the series. After a few shows ABC cancelled it. But now the show is on my "Scheduled List" and can't be removed from that list. It isn't in the guide, therefore it will never be recorded, it can't be removed or cancelled by me. Basically it is a ghost. There needs to be an option on both the Contour menu AND on the Cox website so it and any scheduled recordings can be removed manually if need be. I have already contacted tech support leaving them scratching their heads too. Question Answered Re: How to skip/hide channels on guide with Contour XG1-A box So far what COX has said is a solution is about as clear as mud. There is no way to skip over the channels you or I do not want to even consider watching. We have to pay for them, but I don't have to watch them if I don't want to. Contour 2 Parental Controls I just got the Contour 2 today and really confused. Found the Parental Locks and set a PIN. But even after setting a PIN and you move the channel over that LOCKED channel it wants the PIN. Totally confusing and extra work that accomplishes nothing. Why not set it back up the old way and not a problem. Sometimes the old ways are better.
