Setting up Cox POP email in Windows 10 Hello, I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. When I've gone through the Cox articles on setting up email accounts in Windows 10, there was one article that mentioned selecting IMAP. But I don't like IMAP. Does using the Mail app in Windows 10 support the POP setting? Or are we forced to use the IMAP setting if we choose to set up our email account through the app? By the way, if I choose to use the Windows 7 format, and double click the Outlook icon to open my email, I have the POP setting in it. Does this not automatically sync with the Mail App? Thank you, Denise Deleting folders in webmail Hello, Why are all of my folders showing up in webmail? I got a new desktop computer at home a couple of weeks ago, and I must have used IMAP instead of POP when setting up my email. Is that why the folders are showing up? Also, if I delete some folders in webmail, will they also be deleted at the home email? Thanks for information in advance! Denise Can I keep email account? If I drop Cox, can I still keep my cox email address or no? SolvedRe: problems viewing movies played from DVD player Hi Mike, I tried using the audio/video cables I had to see if audio and video would show up on the tv from the DVR; it didn't. So, that told me the cables were no good. I went and bought audio cables and a s-video cable. I used that between the DVD and TV, but the movie still didn't show up on the tv. I then went to the tv itself, and changed from cable to s-video, and the movie showed up. It may have been I needed to change the option on the tv all along. Anyway, it works. I appreciate your quick response. Thanks! problems viewing movies played from DVD player Hello everyone, I'm having problems viewing movies that are played in the DVD player. This player is about 7 years old and is your basic run-of-the-mill player; the TV is standard def & not flat screen (it too is older - about 6 or 7 years) and the DVR which I just got from Cox a couple of months ago. My current configuration is having audio and video cable running from the DVD player to the TV. The coaxial cable runs from outside to the DVR, then to the TV. I thought this would work as I've talked to several people about this and this is their answer. If this connection is correct, what do I do now - change channels on the tv or set up the DVD player so that the DVR remote can control its functions too? I'm lost and so frustrated. Thanks!
