Bruce did it in another post, I have one called Person to Person Call Management, they do not make this model anymore, I have had it for a long time. The best thing about this unit is that you can add a call individually, add area codes (just using the 3 digits), you can have it automatically screen your calls, you can turn it on and off, you can add 800 numbers to ring if they are important ie; Directv, Dishnetwork, phone companies; etc; Worth the $99 bucks I paid for it!!!! Then you can just drop all upgrades and use the lowest monthly cost plan a phone company has. Oh by the way, you phone does not ring when unwanted calls come in. The only way I know if one comes in, is when it comes up on the TV, that way I can track the unwanted calls as a bunch, and turn in the most frequent calls to the Do Not Call Registry. Just my 2 Cents worth!! Re: Is it possible to block incoming numbers to my Cox phone? Been a member of the do not call list, since its conception. I have 4 numbers listed with them and still get constant calls from telemarketers, Do not Call is useless!! Oh, yes it is free, but you have to update your numbers every 5yrs!! Re: Slow downloads for the last several days. I have the Preferred Package in R.I. and I have yet to see anything over 768kbs for download speed, yet the speed tests show a much higher rate. Could never figure out why I always had a low download rate!! Re: Is it possible to block incoming numbers to my Cox phone? It would be nice to able to add area codes to the blocked list such as 800, 866 and also be able to add harassing numbers from telemarketers and put their area code into the blocked list, such as 231, 519, etc;. Just adding the area code should be sufficient you should not have to add the whole number into the blocked list! Re: Bill Increases Don't feel bad, I have 1 HD DVR, 1 Tivo DVR, 1 regular Box, no movie channels. I get 813 channels, including music channels, most of the channels I watch are in HD. I pay $103 a month for this service. I also pay $35 a month for phone service and $49 a month for internet. I get the channels received with the favorites menu which tells me how many channels I get. Sum it up I pay $188 for tv, phone and internet a month!!
