I made the mistake of calling Customer Service and the lady kept claiming the remote control was the problem; despite my telling her the boxes/remotes in both rooms exhibit the same symptoms. She wanted me to pay for a technician to come out to troubleshoot the system. Honestly, at that point I was ready to switch to satellite. Is there anything else I can try? I'm certainly not paying Cox to fix their system. I've tried the <Exit><Down><Down><2> key sequence many times and it doesn't work. Is there some other way to bring up the diagnostic menu on our Contour box? Cox Directory Assistance Cox Directory Assistance is useless! Twice now, I've had the occasion to call the El Cajon, CA police department for non-emergency calls and each time, Cox 411 gives me numbers for Parks and Recreation, Animal Control, San Diego Visitor's Bureau, etc. - anything except El Cajon Police Department. What is your problem?
