Re: Can't download Voice Everywhere on my new iPad (6th Generation) This means that Cox has taken away a handy service which used to work with my iPad until a few months ago. I'd appreciate your referring this to the developers of the app. I'm sure other people like to check Voice Everywhere with their iPads as well as their phones. Ideally, the whole thing could be available on the Cox app without having to use a second app as well. Can't download Voice Everywhere on my new iPad (6th Generation) I bought a new iPad about 6 months ago-- the latest model (6th Generation). The Cox app works on it, but when Cox moved the voice tools over to Voice Everywhere,it asked me to install the Voice Everywhere app. When I try to do this, I get the message "This app requires specific features not available on this device." Since my iPad is brand new and I do regular updates on both it and my apps (including the Cox app), I'm very disappointed not to have a feature I once had. I've already had an online chat with Cox, and the link sent to me by the technician did not work. I hope this can be escalated to the app developers. I can send you my email address privately if needed. Phone must be rebooted after every Voice Everywhere update We have been Cox customers for over 30 years. Currently our phone, Internet, and TV are all provided by Cox. All worked well until Cox introduced the Voice Everywhere app. We now have regular phone outages (we hear a busy signal), especially after each new update of the app. To restore phone service (dial tone), I need to reboot the modem, temporally disconnecting all services. This has happened 3 times since the latest update on February 1. The Voice Everywhere app has terrible reviews, and updates seem to make no difference. We're hoping that Cox will drop this app altogether. It is getting more and more difficult to justify remaining with Cox, even though most services work well most of the time. Re: Receiving busy signal on landline phone I'll check the T1 light the next time this happens. I am always able to restore a dial tone by rebooting the modem, but this is happening too often now and it never happened before the Voice Everywhere app. I've also written to Cox Support to report the problem and ask for a prompt solution. Receiving busy signal on landline phone For the past several weeks my landline phone (703-631-8077) sometimes does not ring for an incoming call, and I discover this only when I pick up the phone and hear a "busy" signal. Rebooting my modem (which I can do with the Cox Connect app) always fixes the problem, but this is happening about twice a week now. I doNOThave my Voice Everywhere app set to "allow incoming calls to app," and I do not want to do so because of the disruption. The app does usually show voicemails, but it never shows "recent" calls. I use a workaround by going to phonetools.cox.com, and this allows me to see my accurate call history in addition to voicemails. In other words, I need to use three sources to do what I used to do with the Cox Connect app alone, and in addition I am never sure whether my landline phone is "busy" unless I check for a dial tone. SolvedRe: Where is MASN2 this year? Thanks, Jonathan-- MASN2 is on 135/1135 as you said. I appreciate the help! Where is MASN2 this year? I can't find MASN2 on Cox Fairfax this baseball season. Previously it has been on 74 and 1074HD, and has shown Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles games, These channels are now something called YUR-VA. The MASN website says that all cable systems showing MASN will also show MASN2-- where is it on Cox? SolvedMASN2 not showing on Cox Fairfax All the Cox materials I've seen say that MASN2 is on 74 or 1074HD on Cox Fairfax. The Sunday Nationals game (4/9/17) was not shown, nor are the upcoming games listed in the Guide. Last year there were similar problems with finding MASN 2. When (and where) can I expect to see Nationals telecasts on MASN2? Re: New Cox Connect update will not load on my iPhone 4sThe problem was fixed the next day when Cox issued a second update labeled "fixes a couple of iOS 7 issues." Evidently I wasn't the only one having a problem-- sorry, I should have let you know. The crash I was referring to was simply that the Cox screen would come on and then disappear after about 5 seconds-- I never got to the menu or any part of the app. Back in January, the app worked again after a patch was released several days later. It worked perfectly until the update last week. The problem was the same both times, so perhaps the updates are being released before being tested on iOS 7. Thanks again for your help!
