Doesn't sound like an email problem...sounds like you got a trojan...that's what trojans do, ..Before i got rid of an email account...I'd fix my problem because it could happen again if you don't fix it. ..Even worse your friend could have the trojan. I would run antivirus programs ...and turn off system restore when I do...because if the virus is in your system restore it will just keep coming back. Ok yeah..your 100% correct.... I don't care what line you have...If your watching netflix..and playing a game that has to have a very low ping...not good.. example of ping... you are shooting at a person..who is shooting at you...(online game) You both fire at the same exact time. Who ever has the lowest ping will win. So if your games have to be very responsive, definitely one line for games one for movies . If your an avid gamer you want the line all to yourself..I know I would. Has to effect his game..watching netflix and playing a game at the same time...unless it's a card game or something mutliplaying shooting games ...has got to increase his ping time.27Views0likes0CommentsRe: How can I add additional computers to my home network?
To share one Internet connection you will need to buy a router. Cox's routers are excellent, wireless, hard wired and inexpensive. If you are connecting with wires moe than likely you already have a Nic card on the PC. If you want to connect wirelessly they will need a wifi cards... What the router does is takes Cox's ip address that they assigned to you and shares that same address with every computer you add in the house. So cox sees one computer on one side of router and the router sendsto however many on the other side. I have a router I bought from COX 2 computers a laptop, and my phone all connect to the internet through the router. Sure they can bring in another line, another modem, and another bill. But in reality if your talking Cox...1 Ultimate connection is faster than 2 prefered lines. I understand what your saying ..but what;s slowing up games? Movies? both... I'd love to know what you need more bandwidth for to give you better advice...37Views0likes0Comments
