I have no sound on one channel. I haven't changed anything and this just happened the other day. I have no idea why. I tried to reboot my tv and still no sound on just one channel. Any help?
Check to see if you accidently turned on Secondary Audio Program(SAP) on your TV or cable box. Some stations have no secondary audio track, so if you have SAP enabled it can have no audio, appearing muted. Look for a "audio" or "SAP" button on the TV(not Cox) remote. w
If it's not that, is it happening on all boxes in the house? What channel is it?
I saw this SAP yesterday when I was searching for an answer and I went to my audio and couldnt find anything that says SAP.. I only have this one box and its channel 296 Lifetime. I haven't gone into the menu for any reason that's what so weird about this
