Tornado Season- Weather Channel does not cover us like Weather Nation

Its that time again. Tornado season.
Wanted to check the weather and the WEATHER CHANNEL is showing some kind of show about bad weather history.
Why is Cox the only major provider NOT carrying the Weather Nation Channel or something like it?
Everyone else has it, even Direct TV
Cox used to have a separate Weather scan channel for locals.
Weather Nation ONLY shows the weather, not history shows.
I heat it is free to carry as they make their money with TV Ad so it would not cost Cox anything to add it.
Please reply if you agree it should be added to the basic package (since its free to carry)
Check out the Weather N web site they have a live streaming feed of it, maybe Cox could add it to the DVR box like they added Netflix?
