Billing practices will have me dropping TV.

I have been a Cox customer for 5 years. 60 straight months of payments. This mont started a job and had to wait for a check so I paid $100 of a $148 bill. I have been warned, threatened with shut off and generally was told they would shotgun my kneecaps if I didnt pay the $48. I have 100 channels of TV along with 2 add ons and a Premium. Do they think Im going to give up Homeland and Billions midseason?? Too many options for Tv to be treated this way..
