Cox' 2017 FreeView Question

Having received an email from Cox about the upcoming 2017 FreeView promo I noticed this fine print on the web page:

"App-based viewing limited to in-home viewing via Wi-Fi home network. Not all content may be available via app." and "On Demand requires a Cox digital receiver"

As a Cox TV Premier customer there aren't that many channels I view on a regular basis which aren't already included in my current subscription, but now and then I *do* come across a title where, in addition to purchase, is available via On Demand.

What I'm unclear on is, considering that up to now I rely exclusively on a Roku for streaming, whether, during this promo, I will now be able to view these shows/movies using the Contour 2 interface (clicking the "On Demand" option)?
