"Your Connection Is Not Private" error

Edit: the problem is with  https://phonetools.cox.com/.  Nothing can be accessed normally past it without dealing with the dire Google Chrome warning.

Perhaps this has something to do with changing from daylight savings time to standard... please advise.

You can bypass the “your connection is not private" error in Chrome by clicking on the Advanced link and then “proceed to website” link.       Firefox refused to connect to phonetools.cox.com with the message "Your connection is not secure."   The details indicate the Cox certificate expired 11/5/18 06:54:54 am  SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERT. .  I clicked on Advanced to add it as an exception, but unchecked the "Permanent" box.  This allowed me into phone tools for the current session, but after restarting my computer the error message came back.  Someone at Cox needs to update their certificate - - this could be a hack.

      Thanks for the reply and can verify that it's a way of accessing the URL.  My question at this point is, will I be forced to deal with this issue until spring when we return to daylight savings time or is there a resolution in the meantime?

      Hi All, this issue has been resolved. Please clear (delete) your internet browser's cookies, history, and temporary files. Then, close your internet browser and reopen it. You should then be able to access http://phonetools.cox.com. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
