I can't find any way to talk to nomorobo human-to-human, and Cox isn't able to provide, but I need a 520 area code (Tucson) number to use for the simulaneous ring for nomorobo. The one I was provided is a 602 number, and I'm being charged for each call intercepted as a long distance call to Phoenix. Are there any users in Tucson that have a 520 number they are using for the service?
Getting a human response from Nomorobo is like getting a human response from google...it just doesn't happen. If this is going to be fixed, it will be fixed by Cox. Becky, isn't this effecting EVERYONE in that town? Do you expect everyone to contact Nomorobo? Why can't you or Cox try contacting them? I have twice and I am not even a employee.
I finally got a message from nomorobo, and a phone number (866) 732-6185 to use. However, when I put this number in as a simultaneous ring number, the "Save" function in phone tools returns an error message that "We are sorry, we were unable to save your settings. Please try again." Could it be that Cox has to also activate the number somehow, or maybe allow the (866) area code? Please advise...
Have you talked to anyone in your area? Are they having the same kind of problems? Sounds like a account or provisioning issue if not.
Also, isn't that a 800 number? Didn't you need a local number?
No one in my area has responded to my query. And, yes, this was given to me by nomorobo and is a toll-free number. So far, no one has coughed up a local number or offered free intrastate calling as an option.
