Where oh where did it go?

I had TV CID working and now for some reason it only works on one tv in our home.  I changed nothing, it just disappeared!  Help Please Crying

  • I was just checking forum to see if this issue was addressed or not... mine went out a few days ago and a friend of mine at work also mentioned that hers went out... wonder what happened...?

  • TVCID can go out for many reasons for example:

    - getting a new cable box

    -getting a new cable modem

    -adding or changing your telephone services

    -if the box is not responding back to cox.

    What you can try:

    -reboot the box by unplugging from power for about 30 seconds and plug back in

    - go the the caller id menu (ch 995 or by pressing the menu button on the remote and selecting caller id) and make sure the setting is enabled. Turn off and turn back on.

    If none of the above works call Cox Technical Support for further assistance.
