Bounce-back notification on deleted email account?
I did not choose to accept the forced transfer to Yahoo mail. Instead, after receiving the surprise email from Yahoo one morning & being locked out of the webmail interface, I utilized Outlook to download my emails from the POP server and did my best to delete the account. I say did my best because once you're locked out of webmail, the hotlink to "Delete email" under your email address on the Manage Users windows isn't there. But support assures me it's deleted. So my question is, why do I not receive a bounce-back notification (aka failed delivery message) when emailing that address from another account? Useful answers, not just links to this page, much appreciated. Thanks in advance! Cox Cable & Internet Customer
Planned outage…scam?
I received a door hanger and email regarding a planned outage next week. Called CS and they said they didn't see any emails on that so ignore it. They've been diffing in the neighborhood and installing cable for several weeks. I work from home and need to know if this is a scam or not.
Another Yahoo Question (not recognized)
I have been procrastinating with the whole transition but finally remembered to do it today. One problem, I followed the instructions from Cox but Yahoo doesn't recognize my email. Tried it on my phone and now on my laptop and am coming up with nothing. If I'm being honest it could just be I'm dumb and not good at this kinda thing but at this point I'm stuck. Anyone had this same issue or know how to resolve? Or did I just miss the window for a normal transition?
Missing Archive Emails.
My Cox email archive folder shows 0 messages. Ironically, I just saved an email from U.S. Passport Office to the archive yesterday. Now, I have no access to the email. 04/18/2024 Puff it's gone. Years of important saved emails in the email archive folder... vanished. What can anyone do?
Email transition from Cox
After receiving the Yahoo email and without accepting their terms & conditions, may I still download & remove my data from the Cox pop server via an email client like Outlook? If so, can you please confirm the following is still correct? When using these, I'm getting a time out error. Thanks!Worst wifi
I’ve had techs come out and tell me I have good signal but I do not. All my videos buffer and if you want to game you can go ahead and forget that because it will not load. I paid $90 for 500 mpbs so I should have no issue with my wifi. I’ve gotten a new modem and that did not help either. This has became extremely inconvenient for me and I would not recommend this wifi to anyone. Now I have to wait almost a week to get my new equipment delivered to get new wifi. Has anyone else had this experience with them?
Gigablast speed keeps dropping to 25-30MB`
Hello - about 6-8 months ago I signed up for Gigablast. It worked great. My speed wasn't ever close to a gigabyte, typically between 200-400mb. In the past week it keeps dropping to 20-40mb. If I reboot my modem it goes back to 200-400mb, for a very short while, then drops back down to 20-40mb. I don’t know what to do. I have an Arris SB8200 and a TP-Link Deco AXE-5300. Both are less than six months old. HELP PLEASE???
