I am absolutely furious and completely sick of this situation.
For SIX DAYS now my internet has been completely offline and every time I call they say they are working on the problem. They will give NO progress information on when it will be done and I work online and have lost literally thousands of dollars in this week offline.
Not only that but I had been dealing with the internet cutting out every day 5-20 times a day for 10-20 minutes a day for the last two months, and COX told me that it was my fault to buy a new router, spent 600$ on a new router, didn't help. Then they told me to buy a new modem. 150$ down the drain, that didn't work either.
WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED???
Oh My God it has been fixed as far as I can tell. Word to COX,
FIRST: TELL US WHEN YOUR GOING TO BRING DOWN A "NODE" OR WHATEVER THAT IS, IN ADVANCED, SO WE DON'T LOSE OUR JOBS AND INCOME AND HAVE TIME TO PREPARE ALTERNATIVES
SECOND: DON'T TELL US IT'S OUR FAULT AND HAVE US BUY NEW EQUIPMENT!! 750$ SPENT TO "FIX" YOUR PROBLEM, AND IT DID NO GOOD.
THIRD: GIVE US THE WHOLE MONTH FREE YOU SCREWED US.FOURTH: GIVE ACCURATE PROGRESS REPORTS NOT "UNABLE TO ESTIMATE"
