SMTP connection to SMTP.cox.net is not working

For the past couple days I have had a message that my SMTP connection to SMTP.cox.net is not working. I can receive messages on my email, but not send them. Anyone have any ideas to fix this

      I apologize that you were unable to access the links that were provided. This is the Cox Support article for POP or POP3 Server Settings.

      I’ve confirmed that it works using Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox.

        So you are abandoning IMAP completely? Would have been nice if there had been a message of some kind. You folks are real quick to tell us all about the money end of your company, but the really important things (like giving up on IMAP) are a big secret.
