Internet not working- wiring problem

My internet stopped working a week ago. We had no previous problems, but when the guy from cox came to look at it, he said it was a problem with the wiring. It was working fine and then just stopped. How do I get someone from cox to fix this? Can I be reimbursed for the month it will take to get it running again?

I had problems a few years back. TV and internet. I paid for my own new cable from Node to me. It is mine and thus nobody can cut into it to add a splice for another service and no barrel connectors. I now get 25% higher speed then I pay for and that is on wifi. Cox will come out if the node is full splice into cables to add others. I see a node in our neighbor hood that is so overloaded it is a joke! Cuts--splices! I also got moved to a Node with only 3 people on it! Just my 2 cents.
