Enhanced Webmail - Deleted items in inbox

I have multiple email accounts with Cox. The one that is on the classic email server works fine. The others that are on the Enhanced Webmail server have the issue. When I delete an email from my PC email client (Windows Live Mail) & then log into the Cox Webmail application all of the deleted message are still in my inbox but are striked through. The downside of this is that when I log into webmail there are hundreds of emails in my inbox (most striked through) and the valid ones are intermixed amongst all the trash that had been deleted. This doesn't occur on the classic mail version. They are placed in the appropriate deleted items folder. I've called tech support but they haven't experienced this and don't know what to do.  I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this issue and what I need to do to resolve this issue.
