When checking Cox t.v. listings in both Chrome and Edge, I receive the warning "this is not a secure site" I am not experiencing this with any other site.
It's not using HTTPS, and that why its giving that warning. Any site that starts with HTTP and not HTTPS will give that warning. Did it use to use HTTPS before? You don't need to sign into the page, so I don't see it being crucial.
Thanks but this site uses https and "Not secure" is before the https
Then that is different, since you DO have to sign into forums.cox.com and DOES use HTTPS.
Have you tried from a different computer or device(like a cell phone)?
Nevermind, I just saw what your seeing. It's using HTTPS but when you click on "i" next to the address bar it says "Your connection to the site is not fully secure." However if I open a tab in Incognito, the same site says it's secure. Can you confirm?
It must be some kind of non-secure content used by forums.cox.com that doesn't match the certificate.
in order to view my t.v. listings, I have to sign in. Thanks for your help. I think Cox needs to fix this.
Yea, I think your right. At first I thought the issue is avoidable, but now I just see it's intermittent.
