The problem is getting worse.
There is no splitter in my setup. There is the type-F adapter that came with the modem and that is it.
Right after your response it became very apparent that there was an outage in my area and was reported on your site and SMS message.
Still having problems. 11/08/2018, 7 captured external resets to my modem and multiple disconnects; 11/09/2018, 5 captured external resets to my modem and multiple disconnects; 11/10/2018, 3 captured external resets to my modem and multiple disconnects. (Captured modem resets means I saw the modem lights go thru the reset cycle which I have become VERY familiar with. I'm sure I have missed a few incidences.) (From 10/26/2018 to 11/07/2018 I had no issues with my service at all. I wonder who was on vacation during this time?)
My modem has always been configured this way. The configuration is either out of the box that way or it was configured that way by your system. I have 30Mbps down and 3 Mbps up, a single channel is capable of over 30Mbps depending on the carrier frequency and modulation used.
