In games such as CSGO, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, and PUBG, I have really high ping and packetloss. Sometimes the ping is great and the packet loss is bad, but other times the ping is horrible and so is packet loss. Sometimes my ping ranges from 10ms - 70ms. Othertimes it ranges from 60ms - 300ms. Packetloss sometimes ranges from 0% - 10%, but other times it ranges from 10% - 100%. Sometimes I can't even watch videos in 720p. I contacted the ISP once and they sent a technician out, but he said that nothing could be fixed. They swapped out for another modem and nothing. He said it can't be fixed, however I don't believe that because we shouldn't be having poor internet like this.
What model modem/gateway do you have? Also, can you show a tracert with the packet loss in it?
Sorry I took forever to respond, I have been busy. I have a Cisco DSA321N. It's what Cox gave us.
I don't recolonize that model. Maybe it's Cox's naming scheme for DPQ3212? If so, that isn't the gateway I was worried about you having. Should be good up to 100/10Mbps.
Could you show a ping and tracert showing the packet loss? The ping will show how much packet loss and the tracert should show where it's happening. Will need to know the server name or IP for the games you play, but see here on basic info how to run a tracert.

Looks like high latency either between router and modem, or between modem and Cox. Try "Ping -n 50 192.168.100.1" and if that is high, then problem is between modem and router. I would suggest replacing the ethernet between the two. If that is normal, then problem is between modem and Cox.
Can you post your modem's signal levels? They should be available at 192.168.100.1 unless it has been blocked. Should look something like the image below but feel free just to copy/paste the text.

That is odd. The data points to a issue between the modem and Cox, but your signal levels are pretty good. The only thing that slightly odd is you only have 3 upstream channels, but that could be normal for your area.
Lets do one last ping with "ping -n 50 10.78.128.1" and see how bad the packet loss is.
Also, do have any problems with your phone? The suspected issue would be you can hear them fine but they report you sound far away or distorted.
At this point I am not sure what to suggest. Maybe a moderator might be able to see more. This should be a problem Cox can resolve, I just don't know how yet.
No major issues with the phone, but yeah I have had some times where they tell me I sound far away. As for the ping test, it shows this,

Yea, that's not good. I wonder if something is wrong at the plant level or the local amp. Could you describe the coaxial wiring in the area? Is it underground? Do you have a sub-pole or at the end of a long street?
Also, can you describe how the coaxial gets from the street to the modem? Not too concerned about splitters, but are there any powered amps? Trying to think outside the box.
I'm not sure how to describe any of that. How do I figure out if it is underground or not? My modem coax cable runs up the wall. My telephone line runs through the "Smart box" as they call it. My ethernet connection runs through the walls.
