Why does my email server allow spam/phishing emails to be delivered TO me but blocks me from forwarding them on to respective spam/phishing reporting sources? My bank and investment firm all want you to forward any suspicious emails with their names but I can't seem to do that. You allow others to send me spam and phishing emails but block me from reporting them.
FYI, they don't want you to forward the spam for that very reason. Instead, send it as a attachment that way outgoing anti spam doesn't interfere. See here for general instructions. Not to say that way will accomplish much, since the inbound spam filter is really bad, but that is the official procedure.
Unfortunately, the "official procedure" did not work either. Saved the message as an attachment and attached it to a new email but received the same "server reject" message that way as well.
