When I try to mark the 20-30 daily spam emails as spam I get an error message that reads “The message you requested is unavailable. It may already have been deleted or moved from this folder.” I actually get that message when I try to delete a message as well. Also, I don’t think the SPAM FILTER is working at all. EVER!
Just a guess, but try hitting refresh on the top right corner before selecting the emails to be marked spam. I wonder if Cox is now making some move to remove the spam from inboxes, and it's deleting them from the server, stopping you from tagging it. Then again, it could just as easily be a glitch. I will try to set up some folders and see if I can replicate. Do you have a lot of other folders besides spam?PS. Spam filter IS broken, and has been for weeks. Someone at Cox said they were looking at it, but I wouldn't hold my breath. :-(
Thank you so much for taking the time to make a suggestion. I have been trying what you suggested for several days without success. However, ever since posting in the forum my spam situation has magically and significantly improved. I guess they are listening to us. WooHoo
Really? If so, I would hope they would say what they are doing. However I don't think there is any magic button for this kind of issue. Maybe a timing coincidence?
