Extremely high jitter (over 140ms). VOIP/stream issues
I work from home for a tech company (Elauwit). Funny enough we are contracted by COX to help out in Florida, Louisiana, and California. Because I work from home, I need a stable connection. I use a headset plugged into the computer and use a program called talkdesk to call customers. This is where the issue is. Starting a few days ago customers would tell me I was breaking up and they could not hear me. So I began to do some testing to find out why. I replaced the Ethernet cord plugged into my modem, bypassed my router, and even went as far as to replace the modem (since the COX rep claimed that was my issue). The issue is still present. My Jitter will fluctuate from around 3 to 150 or higher. My work requires the jitter to be as close to 0 as possible and it always was before (at worst it was 3ms). The ping is always fine. I never drop packets and everything else is seemingly fine. The only time I have an issue is when I try and stream something (Twitch, youtube, etc) and when I am making calls for work though the computer. Please help, because my livelihood depends on a solid connection.
