I am diligently marking non-SPAM emails as legitimate but they are consistently landing in my SPAM folder with each subsequent message sent. Is the "thumbs-up" icon nothing more than a placebo button?
Pretty much. I think both the "this is spam" and "this is not spam" do the same thing; nothing. They are UI options for systems not configured on the email server IMO.
To be fair, clicking the thumbs-up icon does move the message in question to the inbox but does nothing else. I'll probably need to reconfigure message filters- likely adding one that places all the messages in question in the inbox. Thanks.
