    Hi AZChandler,

I apologize for the confusion about Gigablast availability.  I'd be glad to confirm if your area is serviceable.  Please send me your full service address to cox.help@cox.com so I can check.

I'm guessing Cox is no longer offering the Fiber connected Gigablast only the DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem which is has 35 Meg upload speed?

Are you talking about Fiber one gigabit down and one gigabit upload I was told by COX chat rep that I would have the cable modem DOCSIS 3.1 would not be one Gigabit upload. When I asked if they could find out why they said to call some support number for gigablast they are only open during the week I keep forgetting to call.

I also wonder about this. It just got to me in Arizona and it says I need 3.1 modem, upload 35. I ordered before I saw this, being installed Saturday, and honestly I'm not sure it's worth it. Upload speed is more important to me. I almost feel like canceling it. I would like an explanation why? Thanks.

Edit: Yep, cancelled. I already get 30 up. 35 is worthless.

I have a Netgear cm1000 behind a Netgear nighthawk x6 r8000 router and I just upgraded to the gigablast service on Cox San Diego on Friday 11-17-17 and the speeds I am getting with speedtest.net and http://speedtest.googlefiber.net/ is in the 400-499 Mbps range. I have tried direct connection to a PC and using a cat 6a cable but I get the same results. The service I had prior to the upgrade was the 300/30 and had no issues reaching those speeds
