I noticed a new 802.11AC Gateway ius available at BestBuy...  Its the Motorola SBG6782 ...

Looks like a good unit, and gets rid of a device for me.

Is it supported by Cox yet ?

    Hi Kevin, 

    This modem has not made it to our compatible modem list yet. I do however show the firmware in our logs, so there is a possibility that we are testing this modem. If you need help deciding on a good modem that is right for you, check out this. Hope I have helped you in making an informed consumer decision.

    But its a Motorola Gateway and It looks like Cox prefers Netgear or Cisco. So that might make them a little less concerned of adapting the firmware and testing it. Also there is might be the concern of the MoCA conflicting with their Whole Home Solution. With that said, I expect a longer then usual delay between release and support.
