Does anyone have any suggestions for frequent internet connection drops? I lose internet connection several times a day. Sometimes it comes back after a few minutes and other times nothing works except unplugging the modem. The modem reset in the modem administration does not work. My computer(s) tell me my system is/are configured properly and that there is a problem with the access point. Windows 10 can fix it occasionally but most times I have to unplug the modem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • I am still unplugging the modem several times a day. The last email I got from support said there was an outage and in so many words just be patient so I guess there must be outages everyday because this is an everyday occurrence. Of course I cannot verify if there is an outage because I have no internet connection when my service is down. I think I am being very patient since this has been going on for months.

    @Intermittent Internet Connection

    If you have an android or apple device you can download Cox connect app and check for outage you can also check Cox.com and sign up for text alert when the outage has been cleared.
