Contour App for Roku Tv

So....I was told by a cox customer rep that I could access my basic channel line up thru a contour app on Roku tv. I find this to be untrue. Could Cox offer an explanation as to why I receive erroneous info from their sales staff. And to why my Contour is BLOCKED from streaming to my tv.
