Cox Contour Box randomly resetting

Hi. We just got a mini contour box added, and it constantly resets itself randomly. Even after adjusting settings to where it wouldn't power off for power save mode on its own. We've tried manually resetting it, unplugging it, and switching out cables.

    Is there a splitter or signal amp on the cable line going to the modem?
