Until the conversion to the new email app, I was able to access my cox email on my android phone by the internet app and logging in via idm.west.cox.net. Now, any time I attempt to login, it sends me off to a new login page (idm.east.cox.net) and will keep sending me to a new login page without accessing the email.

I don't want to link my phone to my cox email accounts, I just want to be able to access the email accounts occasionally on my phone.

    If your email has been migrated to the new server please sign in at http://myemail.cox.net/ and let me know what happens.

    When I used that URL (including the http://), it acted like it was accessing the myemail app and then threw me to the idm.east.cox.net URL.

    Are you typing the URL in on your browser address line?

    Correct. Just for clarity, this is on my Samsung Galaxy S7 and I use the Samsung Internet App.

    Are you able to use a PC or laptop using the URL and see if you can access your email?

    It works fine (relatively speaking) on my PC and laptop, but I occasionally need to check my email from my phone. The old system allowed my to log into the webmail and check my accounts, but the new email app won't work on my smartphone. Does it have anything to do with the fact that the myemail app forces the URL to a secure (https) protocol?

    I have the same phone, however, i use the email app to access my email which you mention you don't want to utilize that. I was also able to access it using google chrome app then typing in cox.com. Let try it that way and see if you can access your email.

    ah, same old errors from cox"s email. Cannot access my mail with NO HELP from cox. qybe I shouls name thema vcar[p=-=fish that no one wants or change the 2 middle letters to what they appear to be IMHO!.

    Dear Cox, I travel to foreign counties frequently Your network security obviously detected that I am connecting with a foreign IP address and prompted for my last 4 SSN AND asked me to select "all castle looking pictures" to ensure I was human (or something). This works fine on my laptop computer BUT it did not work at ALL on my android phone. Where pictures are supposed be displayed was a blank frame. What procedure do you have for someone trying to connect to their Cox Webmail account using an android phone while on foreign travel? Yours Sincerely
