This may sound like an old dog barking up an old tree, but despite the recent improvements, such as eliminating the Flash-only test and having it appear more like its Ookla origin with closer-to-what-you-pay-for-speeds, as compared to the authentic Ookla, the Cox test still underwhelms.

As illustrated, the download results from Ookla are nearly double---double what Cox gauges them to be.

The only reason I even continue to conduct Cox speed tests is in the hope that someone, somewhere in Cox land is taking notice that the results are far below Ultimate tier advertised expectations.
