Is there a maximum number or data size for e-mail messages transferring to Mac Mail via imap?

    Possible workaround:

    In Yahoo webmail I created a folder for each year and did a search for the appropriate date range and moved those messages into their folder. After giving the system time to synchronize, the missing e-mails are now also in my MacOS and iOS Mail apps in those folders. (I left 2024’s messages in the inbox and it appears that the reduced number of messages in any one folder has made the difference)
